GRRRR.....The letter "R"
The letter, "R" is one of the hardest letters for many English learners to say in English. That's because the "R" is pronounced differently than in any other language.
The key to correctly pronouncing the English "R" is to keep your tongue still and use your lips to make the sound. The tip of your tongue should be raised a little, but it should not touch anything in your mouth. If you make an "O" with your lips while you are saying the "R," it makes the pronunciation much easier. Also, when you say the letters surrounding the "R," make sure your tongue does not vibrate.
